MISCELLANEOUS CERTIFICATIONS

Maryland DOT Minority Business Enterprise/Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (MBE/DBE)

State of Maryland Zappold Advisors LLC currently holds Maryland Department of Transportation's MBE and DBE certifications, and is eligible to receive minority business participation goals on state-funded contracts issued by the State of Maryland, contracts funded by counties and cities within Maryland that accept MDOT's certification for their minority participation programs, and federally-funded contracts issued by the U. S. Department of Transportation.

Local Small Business Reserve Program (LSBRP)
Through the LSBRP, we are able to receive local Montgomery County (MD) contracting opportunities that lead to new employment opportunities, increased income, spending and greater tax revenues to support Montgomery County services and capital investments that improve infrastructure and meet other community needs.

Minority, Female and Disabled-Owned Business (MFD) Program
As an MFD owned business, we certify that we are at least 51% owned, controlled and managed daily by a minority person(s) as defined by state, county, and federal laws. In return, Montgomery County ensures that we receive a fair share of the County's contracting opportunities.
